Focusing on the ambivalence of a pictorial image and its manifestation as a handmade object, the project FILED UNDER explores the ambiguous relation that links art and design (and fashion design) today and tries to blur the boundaries between those contexts. Featuring work by various artists and authors, images are published periodically as fine art reproductions on pure silk. Images that break up, dissolve and then re-form. Images that become objects, and objects that become images.

New editions are published periodically, numbered and limited in run.
Delivered prewashed in a handbound and hand numbered box.
Two different types of pure silk are used: Georgette, a lightweight, semi-transparent silk
and Twill, an opaque, heavy-weight silk. The editions can be handwashed cold.
The entire production is handmade in Germany.
