Which payment methods do you accept?

You can use a Paypal or pay in advance via wire transfer (Credit card payment option coming soon). FILED UNDER makes the reservation to delay any order if we suspect a further security control is needed. For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.

What is your exchange and return policy?

Unfortunately we cant not offer to send you back the money for a Silk Print you did not like, because all Silk Prints are produced on demand. Please see our complete Return and Exchange policy by clicking here.


How do you ship your orders and what are your shipping rates?

We ship all orders using DHL. Shipping rates depend on your shipping address. If you live in Germany the delivery is for free. If you live somewhere else find your country and corresponding rate here.

How can I track my order?

As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification with a DHL tracking number. Click here and enter the tracking number to see the status of the package.

Can I send an item as a gift?

Yes. Simply select the gift option at checkout. The gift will be sent without an invoice to delivery addresses within the EU. Please note that due to customs restrictions, we must include an invoice on all international orders. The invoice will be placed outside the gift packaging.

Do I have to pay custom duties and taxes if my order is shipped outside the EU?

Yes, the customer is responsible for all applicable custom duties and taxes for orders shipped outside the EU. This will be a separate charge invoiced by our courier DHL. Custom policies vary widely between countries. Please contact your local customs office for further information. To ensure quick delivery to you, any custom duties and taxes imposed by your government will be paid for on your behalf by our courier DHL and you will be responsible for these charges. You will receive a separate invoice by DHL for any applicable custom duties and taxes.

How long does the shipping take?

All orders are processed at our studio in Munich, Germany. Every print is made on demand. At the moment we produce once a week. So depending on when your order reaches us the item will be ready for shipping at the latest five days after we received payment clearance. We operate Monday to Friday not including Holidays. The delivery will usually be made within 1 to 4 business days calculated from the time it leaves our studio to the address indicated by the customer depending on the shipping method and destination. International orders may take longer. 


How to wash the Silk Prints?

Use lukewarm water and mild detergent or shampoo. Wash without excessive rubbing. You can add a few drops of hair conditioner to the final rinse water for extra silky feel. Soaking silk for any more than a few minutes should be avoided. Do not wring or twist; roll in towel to extract water. Lay the garment on a flat, clean surface to dry. If necessary, press the silk garment inside out while damp using cool iron setting.

What is Georgette?

Georgette is a lightweight, semi-transparent silk that offers an graceful drape and a soft, dull finish. Featuring a matte crinkly surface, this silk fabric has a pleasing springiness. 

What is Twill?

Silk Twill is a classy, opaque, heavy-weight silk woven with a pattern of diagonal parallel ribs. Best known as typical fabric of the carre hermes.

What means ... g/sqm?

It describes the grammage per square meter. The lower the grammage the lighter the fabric.
